    Hi All,
I’m looking for an E-Locker rearend assembly for a 2011 Tacoma. My current Tacoma is a non-TRD Pre-Runner with a 2.7 liter, 5-speed manual with 30 axel splines and 4.10 gear ratio. It is kind of a rare combo as it is, as most people seem to want the V-6, much less is it common to find a 2.7 liter with a 5-speed manual, much less would it be common in a TRD, as most people that chose the TRD package consider the V-6 an upgrade, and I don’t even know how many they made, much less how lucky I’d have to be to score one in a junkyard. Can anyone help me with a strategy to find one for this configuration? Thanks in advance.

All TRD OffRoads were V6 and use the same locker that was exclusive to the TRD OR, they never made a 4.10 axle with a locker on a 2nd gen.

I guess you could get a locker from and OffRoad and have it re-geared to 4.10 but it would probably be cheaper to put some type of autolocker or air-locker in the axle you have.

I thought all manual transmission Tacoma's of the 2nd generation were 4.30, and had the e-locker available on the OR package.

All manual transmissions of the 3rd gen are 4.30, all v6 2nd gens are 3.73 regardless of tranny.

@Unfinity you can get a 2nd gen Elocker axle housing and then put an earlier 4.10 Elocker 3rd into it. I have a factory 4runner 4.30 Elocker in my truck.

I think I remember seeing something about 1st Gen Tacoma having legit TRD packages available with the 2.7L but did they actually come with the factory locker? Not sure.

A factory 2nd Gen 2.7L was never available with the TRD trim or model

I have since read that there were 3rd gen e lockers available with 4.10 gears with factory sticker axle code of G202. Not easy to find though. Since the rear end assemplies have the same dimensions and mounting points, this should bolt in. Someone correct me if this in in error. I suspect it might be false. I think for a factory e locker with 4.10’s, I’m limited to finding a 2nd gen TRD with a manual transmission and possibly only 2.7 liters will have the gear ratio I need. Thank you all for your replies.
