E locker "locked" at fwy speed

So I was doing 70Mph on the fwy when the e locker just decided to lock on its own. I have yet to double check connections, etc.
Anybody had this happen before?
I just swapped my third member.

 

Did it do any damage to the 3rd when it locked at that speed?

Well that' good.. I never seen one lock on it's own, you sure you didn't accidentally hit it trying to turn fog lights on?

 

So far what I've found is the oil causing it for some reason.

It only sounds scary. But it's not noticeable until you stop and try to make a sharp turn.

I have been able to put my truck into 4hi at 80mph when it SHOULD be limited to 60mph (it will beep and yell at you 99% of the time) but its fully gone in above its max allowed speed.... so possibly the locker went in when you accidentally pushed the button.

But it shouldnt just fall in at speed without the actuator.

 

Unless you done the mod, I didn't think it would lock unless you were in 4LO??

 

Pinion was loose, causing the locker to act crazy. Drove for 50 miles so far without issues.
