Have you verified you're running proper psi? A lot of shops will set them to the door setting, which basically goes out the window with different tires.

Keeping weight in mind when I opted for a heavier tire, I went with SCS F5's which come in at 19lbs per rim I believe. The stock OR rims I think are 22lbs so I lost -3 lbs per wheel so total weight would be about 64lbs.

I also get better mpg's running them at 37-38psi over the 35 that the stealership keeps resetting them to whenever I take it in for service.

I've always wondered what the optimal PSI is for a 33" 10-ply tire. Right now i have them at 30 to make the ride softer but even that doesn't help make them softer. @JDAM had one of his MTR's go completely flat on him and he said the tire still looked like it was full of air.

Kudos to you sir! I too have a Spruce Mica ('14)TRD OR DC with SCS F5's and C range Duratracs.

Been running the Duratracs for 40,000 miles now. Never had a balancing problem nor a problem with the noise level. Tires have worn quite evenly, despite my half-assed rotation schedule (went 15k between rotations last time). I run 42psi in the front and 39 psi in the rear.

Does anyone run the 265 70 17 in the falken wildpeak at3? The E load range version of that tire has a larger diameter and deeper tread than its c load range counterpart of the same size.

Just went with 4 Duratracs 265/75R16's. Ran them before on my previous small trucks, with great success. In C they are 45Lbs apiece. Could have had the Duratrac E's for same price but didn't want to have to turn the extra weight, at 51 lbs apiece. KO2s the same size available only in E tip the scales at 53 lbs apiece. Thats 8 more lbs apiece X4, to get up to speed and keep rolling on my (somesay) undertorqued truck.;) Willing to take the chance on softer sidewalls of the C rated Dura's in exchange for the softer ride and better gas milage I will obtain with the lighter tire. In my eyes, bonus being that they look much nicer, mounted on my truck than the KO's. I will turn up my stereo to drown out the slightly louder road noise of the Dura's. ;) But then at my age my hearing is shot anyways:D
