I was laid off on 9-11-01. It sucks but as the saying goes, "One door closes and another one opens." That process sucks but it's true. I learned to network my ass off afterwards as you never know. Sign up for linkedin.com

well... i just had another phone interview for a position at Netdevil. I spoke with the senior technical director for about 30 minutes and the interview went very well. some of the job requires skills that i can do in my sleep and other parts of the job will be very challenging.

for the next step, they are going to fly me out to Colorado next week for an in-person interview. man... i am both excited and nervous :)

    more woot....

well... the in-person interview was post-poned for a week, so i fly out to colorado tomorrow morning for a monday afternoon interview. they put me up in a hotel in Broomfield and the company is in Louisville (i really dont know the area).

my wife and i are getting really excited about the chance to move to CO. what are some good cities to live in around there? there is Boulder, but isnt that a college town? someone mentioned that Broomfield or Westminster are good cities. any other suggestions?

man, i had to survive a whole extra week of being excited and waiting for this interview :)
