    That looks really good.
Did you run a dedicated circuit or did you tap an existing circuit?

@Gunner123 @jbon893 @odinsbro15 can any of yall talk about how you wired it up? Mine is supposed to come in today and I'm trying to gather some intel because I'm retarded and need some help. Do you need to splice anything? Is it plug n play? Any help would be greatly appreciated :help:

@xenocide so i did mine differently than what others probably did... the most common way is getting an add a circuit/ add a fuse and installing it in the fuse box under the hood in the spot labeled DRL (day time running lights). if going this route you will need to purchase a https://www.amazon.com/ABN-Fuse-Tap...6&sr=8-4-fkmr1&keywords=car+micro+fuse+splice.

i dint want the "raptor lights" to always be on as its not that well seen durring the day time and id rather not take hours off the led's life. i myself inlined spliced to the back of the drivers side headlight to the white led running light and wired in such a way that the raptor lights only come on when the truck light setting are in night mode (tail lights glowing and white led running lights on and or the headlights are on). if you are interesed in doing it the way ive done please let me know and i will get you the wiring colors..

    thanks
    eric

Hey Eric, thanks for the writeup!! I think I'm gonna try to get it to run when the DRL amber lights are on.

I bought those quick splice connectors at auto zone and spliced them with the amber lights in the headlights. takes about ten minutes. its super easy. just youtube how to use them and connect it. Some people will say they are not the best but they are the easiest. i wrapped them with electrical tap after wards and zip tied everything so it doesn't move

if anyone is wondering how to wire the amber lights, I just did mine. I wired so that the LEDs would power on as soon as the truck powers (day and night). Pics here

That looks nice. Any chance of a full frontal shot now that it’s installed? I’d love to see another one with the land cruiser “Toyota” on it if someone goes that route.

I simply glued them on. The letters came with mounting pegs in the back that I had to remove, in order to make it sit flush to the grille.

I love how they slapped "PATENT PENDING" on every picture. Nothing about this grill qualifies it for anything other than a design patent, which is too broad for anyone to waste their time on.

FYI, there is a whole line of these types of grilles that some Chinese tooling manufacturer is knocking off. They are making them for all sorts of vehicles. They make the tools, then offer up the parts to smaller manufacturers / trading companies that fill their catalogs full of them and sell to anyone willing to buy. That's what's happened with the 2017 knock-off TRD Pro Grills. This one seems to still be fairly new, but you can bet your bottom dollar that the market will be flooded with people offering them before long, which will drive the price down even further.
