    Dang.
I don't trust big box garages, but they're just drum breaks so I'm trying to decide if I can trust Firestone with the job.

I only go with specialty shops that know off road trucks. Even though it’s just brakes since everything else is modified I just don’t want them to come across something they don’t know. Also if you are doing your drum brakes also consider changing your fluid and getting Stainless steel break lines it’s super worth it.

Copy, good point. Going to upgrade my front breaks in a few months. Good suggestion though, thank you.

Whats up everyone! In Pasadena here. Lurking for a while finally pulled the trigger on a Sky Silver 2019 TRD OR last week and made an account. What's up in our area? Any meetups or anything?

That spruce mica green is the most goddamn sexy color Toyota ever put on these trucks, why they only offered it for a couple years blows my mind. If you ever see a guy in traffic in a red 1st gen ogling your truck it's me

Gonna be in Monrovia tomorrow if anyone is around. Afternoonish, probably getting basic at Starbucks on Foothill / Myrtle for a quick minute in the afternoon.

Guys, on my last road trip I either damaged my wheel or tire and now I have a very slow leak. Anyone have a shop that would be good at looking into the leak? I called 4 wheel parts and they cant get me in for another 3 weeks... Similar with RPM garage

No i cant find it. It's loosing about 4lbs a day, it may be too small of a leak to be making any bubbles. I haven't taken the wheel off yet for a full inspection, but i'm thinking I may have a hairline crack in my wheel. Didn't do any crawling and never aired down my tires, so I'm hoping that's not the case, as I don't know when it would have happened

I know some shops have a vat that they'll submerge the whole wheel/tire in to look for leaks. If the wheel is bent, theres a place in NoHo that I know that does that kind of repair. I've never used them, but I'll see if I can get their info to you. In the meantime I'd probably take the wheel off and take a good look at the inside (backside). I had a sidewall bulge on my coopers after a trip to Mojave (impact damage when aired down). I didn't even notice because the tire was holding air. I was only made aware by a buddy that was driving behind me one day and noticed something sticking out of my tire as it rolled. Would've been bad if it blew through.
