Glendale here... I’ve been just reading through TW for the past two years and finally joined tonight. Is anyone organizing a 818 meet? Would love to check out some Tacomas and meet some people from this site.

Brand Park parking lot in Glendale?
Galleria top floor parking lot?
Rose Bowl area? Lots of empty parking lots
Costco/BestBuy parking lot in Los Feliz area (Atwater)?

 

Glendale sucks for meets. Everything’s busy AF and often crowded. Burbank is slightly better but not by much.
Besides a bunch of dudes sitting around an empty parking lot looking at trucks is kinda... lame honestly. If you could find some kind of even like food or drinks or whatevs then you might have something.

 

Week nights are not too bad in Glendale, but I see your point.

Maybe Eagle Rock? Lots of hipster eateries (oinkster burgers, tacos, coffee, and pizza) and we can park up and down Colorado Blvd.

 

Oinkster is the shit. Royale with cheese.

 

Tony’s darts away in burbank, weeknights are pretty chill.

 

Been wanting to have a meet out here near me I have a spot picked out food, drinks, and parking. Just haven’t been able to figure out a date/time. Been pretty hot to do a day thing on the black top. Plus this area (L.A.) has been pretty dead on Tw for a long while

 

I held the title for a while in their jenga tournament back in the day.

 

I think there’s enough people that want to meet. Someone just has to take point and schedule something and people will come out.
