I have Plasti'd my bull bar (about a month ago), my chrome grill (2 weeks ago), and now my rims (a week ago). So far all of them are holding up amazing. The bull bar is holding up great and has been off roading twice, same with the grill, no rips, cuts, or anything falling off. About 3-4 light coats on each. The rims look great in a week and I took them off roading once through mud rocks and branches. Plasti dip is amazing, it holds up like a champ more then expected. They have all been through the car wash a few times as well. Im going to be powder coating my rims in the next few weeks though to finalize it. The plasti dip on my rims was just temporary to see how I like it... and I love it. Any advice on what powder coat to get done. I heard theres flat, semi, and gloss.

They said they need to replace the pump and flush the fluids with a total of $89. I am picking it up later today but they claim thats why the truck is making the whistling/squeeling sound so hopefully thats all I have to pay. Im still going to argue my point about being 2000 miles out of warranty and they didnt say anything was wrong before warranty. Hopefully it is compt for me :D

Walked in earlier today and there wasn't any service reps to talk to cause it was 730 and they tried to pin a 1000 bill on me........ I flipped out and I'm going back tomorrow to bitch. I'm less then 2000 miles under warranty and have gotten all my service done there I'm rippen. When they said there was a problem it would be $89 to fix.....

    Update on truck...
So after an hour and half at the dealership.... Talking to a few reps and service manager. I got my bill trimmed $835.00..... Was originally $1038 and I paid nothing for the pump and pulley system nor the labor. I paid total of $193.37 :D can't really believe I pulled this one off and was a little nervous for awhile but it worked out perfectly. Not a bad days work

Turning 21:D:D:D. Takin the truck to Philly with my boys to meet up with a friend who transferred out of Assumption and went to Drexel. Should be fun. Hit the bars up. I'm from Philly so It'll be cool.

I got the Adj. Billies at 1.5 now. Pretty sure Im going with the OME coils but havent finished my research of reviews, then going to price check everywhere, get my funds together, then pull the trigger.

thanks for the reply. i was thinking about doing some plasti dip work on the front end of my truck...i just wanted to know if it was really worth it, but it seems like its working out for you just fine.

i dont really know anything about powder coating the rims. i used the rustoleum flat black paint on my friends OEM skid plate...it worked out really well. we lightly sanded before putting on the first coat...and put on 3-4 light coats like you did with the plasti dip. i hope the powder coat goes well for you...good luck!!!

I'd love to save some money and just spray paint them but #1 dont want to mess up... #2 not much of an artist so messing up is definitely a possibility, #3 when I plasti'd the rims its real hard to get in all the crevices and on the horizontal part of the rim without it dripping, and if you dont have a consistent spray with the spray paint it looks like shit... At the end of the day I know I want black rims so I'll bite the bullet and pay a little extra to do it right and have it staying nice. Just wish if I knew if there were different forms of powder coating and which one to pick for a rustic look
