This was an OK movie. There was a lot of action in this movie and it wasn't all that far off from reality. Most of the technology in the movie would probably be within the realm of reality in 20 years.

Spoiler Alert! read this only if you don't plan on watching the movie - Highlight over the area below to read the big secret
The woman on the phone is a super computer made by the US government. She can hack into all internet connected items - including signs, stop lights, gps, cell phones, luggage handling, etc... The computer figured out a way to "read" people and targeted people that she could easily manipulate. This was all a big plot by the computer to kill the president using a diamond necklace and a small boy playing the trumpet. They killed the computer by draining the cooling fluid and smashing the orb that looks like the eye from that old movie "Flight of the Navigator" had sex with HAL. Oh yeah, all the stars end up living.

the original cut was alot better. they changed alot of it. while we were workin on it the scene with the crane bursting into the building took 2 months after production just to get it to look right. the special effects gave us some problems but at the end it turned out pretty good. didnt make as much as we wanted to though
