I have a set of EARLY (EDIT) model after market tail light that I put on my 2002. I know that I have to re-wire so that it can fit. I did a lot of research but I really can't find an explicit method to do it.

Any information is welcome. Thank you!

you sure it needs rewiring? I was told it "should" swap right out but even if the plugs don't match the wires should.

I suggest you find a salvaged truck and get the plugs from it or maybe someone is parting out a truck can hook you up

I just edited my question, those lights was on a 1998 tacoma and now I want to put them on a 2002. The plugs are different and I need to put on another ground. I'm pretty sure about that because when I brake the back up light and turn signal get some electricity.

There's a thread around here sonewhere. Someone did this before and succeeded. I do recall that they had to add a prong to the harness
