I've seen various different methods of installing fog lights. Honestly, there are like four different methods i've seen, some taking extensive amount of time.

I like the remove grille option, it seems easier, anyone have a write up or quick explanation?

So you have fog lights but want to replace the bulbs or are you talking about installing fog lights in a model that doesn't have them from the factory (your profile shows a TRD OR with fogs).

    Should have specified.

For my truck, I want to install the rigid pros (sold one set here and keeping second set for personal use).

Ok, so I don't know how they fit in (probably clips), but the way I removed my fogs was as follows. Note that there are probably other ways, but this is what I did.

    1) Pull the plastic bezel covers off. These are held on by tabs, but I found I could pull them off from the outside without damaging them.
    2) Remove the front grill. Not necessary, but gave me a bit more space (could do this first, either way)
    3) The fog light and housing (at least the one on my truck) is held in place by a single philips screw which unscrews from the inside. Reach down to the back of the housing and undo the screw (this took me a bit of time as you can't see where you're placing the screw driver).
    4) once the screw is off the whole housing will be loose. Disconnect the plug and pull the fog light and housing out. It won't fit out the fog light hole, so I just pulled it out the top around where the headlight meets the grill.

Now you're left with a space where the fog light used to be and a plug you can connect directly in to. I would assume that the OEM rigid figs would just plug in and the housing would just clip into place, but I don't know that for sure as I don't have them.

No need to remove the grill, you can easily reach down inside with the hood up to release the bezel clips. Pop off the bezel. Remove the screw. Old fog light comes out. Pro fog light goes in. Install screw. Slap the new bezel on. 10 minutes tops.
