At least their tax is 7.75 vs. 8.25, just a tiny bit less.
I actually thought of driving down there to pick up and see if they'd credit some of the shipping charges, visit a couple of friends there too, but they're way south (Hence their name). $2426 shipped is not bad for that package. So the leaf pack was an extra $186?

I was thinking of going with this same setup, except maybe going with an AAL instead of a whole replacement leaf pack. What made you decide on the leaf pack vs. the AAL? Are you going to go with a full 3" or just 2.5"?

186 for the leaf pack, yes. I'm gonna go with 2.5 for now probably, we will see if my clearance is good, and will compare the levelness at 1.5 in back. If I don't like, I will crank em up, but it seems like you get a lot more vibes and issues at 3"....

The guy I talked to on the phone convinced me to do the leaf pack, I'm really uneducated when I comes to suspension performance, so I just went with his suggestion.

Heard that before and that's why I trusted him. Rear suspension is cheap if I decide I don't like it, ill just buy bigger.

Way ahead of you buddy. :D

I removed the fender elbow (which in my truck acted like a funnel from the water splashed up from the tires). I know everyone talks shit about CAI, but I'll probably pick up the AFE one just to completely avoid the posibiliy of this shit happening again.

But then again...if it wasn't for this ordeal, you wouldn't have a Fox/TC suspesnion. Think about that ;)

I know Pismo's not your thing, but you should come with. It's fun out there.

Leave the bellypan skid at home. Even with the weight of your truck, those fat ass tires of your's aired down to 10-12 psi and you'd mob around fine out there.

Well, only if we find time to install it. Someone with tools will have to help me, I packed extremely light coming over here, I looked this afternoon and I think I even forgot my floor jack. If you guys have space during mod day then lets do it, otherwise I'm not going to push it when others have already asked. My leaf pack may not be in by then, but I can always install that later. My lift should be pretty much plug and play, I hope.

I'm down for a little fun afterwards, but I think I have some weekend duty days around that time. Pismo is a sand dune area right? I just googled it.
