A big THANK YOU to Jerry for being such a great host for mod day and another big THANKS to Jason for helping me get my coil overs in before it got dark.

It was great meeting everyone who came and it was cool to see people jumping around from truck to truck lending a hand where ever they could. There was a sense of fraternity in the air and it felt awesome.

I don't know about you guys but I was sore as fuck after crawling under trucks etc., mod day was an awesome workout. Fucking kicked my ass.

I am pretty sure the top hat from the 4runner and tacos are the same.. My top hat is still on the strut though but I have no use for it.

It was truck to truck install after install. One person needed this, another that. It went very well IMHO and thanks JLee for hosting!!!

I propose a change in name from "Mod Day" to the "Nor Cal Wrenchin, Weldin and puttin shit together Day"

    ...too much shit to list.
You should pick these up tacomtn and bring them over to my house. I have a little trick to pulling the old top plates off stock coilovers without compressors or fear of bodily injury. Then you can take the top plates and isolators in with your new suspension to get assembled.

    :humble:

    Yes...yes I am. :quickdraw:

Damnit. You stole my idea for a South Bay mod day name. :D

Then we're gonna take Eric's Runner and do it up like the old K-5 Blazers with the removable top and roll bar

Maybe you could tell me the year and specs of your Runner, then I could cross reference. But then we'd need a compressor to remove the top plate. I'm sure you dont want to just give me your struts.

My runner is an 07 4x4 sport edition. You can take my struts. The shocks are no longer any good.
