I'll get right on that write-up! ;) Thanks.

I'm actually finally working on a build thread, lmfao. I've only been on here for almost 3 years now with nothing to show!

It's an 89 Toyota Pickup. I got some stuff done to it.. FJ axles going under it soon.
Sorry I was unable to make the meet, some unexpected plans came up the night before(my parents last minute decided to have a memorial for my deceased sister on that Friday night..and it included staying overnight in a hotel in Santa Cruz)

and I've also been dealing with my truck..it's definetely a lemon truck. Everything that has been known to go wrong, has.
Now I have the infamous cylinder 2 crack on the head. :(
I might just part it out and buy a Runner..or a early 80s solid axle truck then do the 22RE swap..
I can't deal with this damn truck anymore, it's given me alot of long nights and major headaches. I've put almost 2K into it in the past 6 months...

Again, sorry I couldn't make the meet..

Hate those styles.Unless top is off it always. Which is a no no unless I fabbed a piece of plexi for winter.
The rear seats would still get wet though.
I'd only do a runner if it was pre-taco style front end/ 95.5/97 Tacoma front end.

If not, I'd do a solid axle Toyota truck.

I'm looking at those years..I'd do 4" springs all way around, 33 12.5s, sliders, locked front and rear..bumpers front rear, and a 8k winch.
    That's it.
    Oh and the 22RE swap.
Don't wanna hassle with carb shit..

Yep, so is daily driving..unless your hardcore into old school stuff. Which I am definetely not.

I actually might be able to sell my truck, and all the extras plus have a little cash saved away anyway...to pick up a decent Runner..and a decent Toyota truck.

I've been seeing Runners for 2500 bucks..just gotta find a 5 speed one that runs healthy. and I've driven my friends Runner long enough now to know how a 3.0 is healthy.
If I could get a Runner for say 2k, or 2250. I'd have about 2500-2800 to pick up a Toyota truck..which is plenty for a decent one.

But then the mod bug will bite...

If somebody comes across a 92-95 4runner 4X4 in decent shape, give me a PM.

Same with a SA Toyota Truck(81-83).

    Thanks.

Get em cheap, and I'll do the 4.7L swap down road
and I can get the next gen front end swap(97-00 style tacoma but for 4runner) for next to nothing at a local yard.

    Jerry,

I thought of another "tool" if you will before you're next mod day. I'd suggest one of these. You're press scared the shit out of me when we were pressing out the old ball joints.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Yeah me and Jon made a ball joint tool out of some scrap 1.75 x .120 wall tube and some plate for the second one so it was way better.
