East Bay Mod Day #5 4/11/2015

Definitely! I'm so excited to finally have 4x4 lol!! Hoping to have lockers then, but probably not yet

 

Well the worst obstacles they have up there I make it up with a little elbow grease most of the time, so you should be able to clear it easily also. I'm glad you finally self inducted yourself into the 4x4 club! Welcome! Lol.

 

All worked out great man, thanks for the help getting it started. Hit a little snag with the final spindle install steps and ended up stripping a tie rod bolt but we were able to get it the front all wrapped up (granted w. one of the most god-awful alignments I've ever seen).

Got the rig back on the road today. Still sitting about .5-1 in. too high in the front but I'll crank it down in a little while. Thanks for the help guys, especially Jerry for hosting and holding onto my tires for a couple days!

Agreed. It is looking much MUCH better now. You guys were having a hell of a time with that tie rod. No install every goes smoothly does it. It's always something. Lol.

 

I like it, it looks like a whole new truck! Thanks for hosting Jerry, glad we have an awesome community to do these meets too.

My sig picture? It's from the round Valley parking lot haha. It's a hiking spot out off marsh Creek in Antioch. I know a lot of good spots if your interested in pix. Also my good friend has an awesome professional camera that we go out and shoot.

Hell yeah dude! Ill PM you my info. I have been looking fr decent spots to shoot and have some pictures snaped! Any wheeling spots out that way? Thats not even far away from where I live.

 

Cool, maybe we can do some nice pictures one day with my bud.

 

Bummed I missed the Mod Day. Had to Go to Sacramento to straighten out some retirement paperwork. I look forward to the next one.
