493E3EBB-1727-45BB-B98B-5CA0A2A188CB.jpg Hood was badly dented on my colorado.
I’m going to give amerihood a chance as the price is right. And it is a stock looking hood with a heat extractor in the right spot for the radiator.

anyways, my idea of tinted raptor liner isn’t the best idea.
I’m thinking of having the hood painted factory color... maybe then raptor liner the inside to dampen any vibration etc etc...

anyways, does anyone have a recommendation on a good place for a fiberglass hood paint job? im in concord of that helps

Painter here. Go to a good Bodyshop. That hood is probably going to require lots of blocking and featherfill to get that thing straight. Fiberglass parts never really come ready for paint that I have ever seen. It’s will look awesome though.
    Good luck

Yea... my main concern was that the hood wasn’t warped and that the edges were straight...
I have had a bed painted and a shell painted. Both were done so crappy.

Yeah the edges also. Sorry the work was crappy. Lots of time to make look perfect.

Not sure if they are good with glass but Kee’s auto body on Monument did a good job on mine. Their prices are good and they went above and beyond fixing stuff not related to why the truck was there

I forgot I started this thread.

I put the hood on today. Long story, I thought I had a place to get it painted.

    Nope.

so I’ll give Kees a call.

fitment was actually really really good. Gaps were straight and even, hood tip followed nice! Everything was lined up great.
