Since all you west coast and mid west folks have such beautiful terrain to travel on, camp, and explore, I was wondering what states on the east coast have the equivalent to west coast overlanding excitement. If you could share your east coast experiences, pictures, videos, states you've traveled by vehicle, trails, camping sites, etc.

Only real Overlanding is going to be North Maine Woods and Eastern Canada.

Thanks. I was talking with my friend last night. We may just drive to Montana/Idaho area for a month this summer. I might have to look at moving towards the pacific northwest.

there's too many people in the north east, we need a new plague.

Check out the" trans american trail" op. I think its your best bet.Me and my buddy talking about finding time to do it.

youtube "lucky 8 easter expedition". Great group of people. mostly rovers. they go up to eastern canada every year for a 1-2 week long trip. i wheel with them in the summer, but it's unlikely i'll ever make it on an expedition with them, as it's invite only, an i don't drive a rover or unimog....

very cool videos though, to give you an idea.

There's a lot of over landing you could do in WV on unmaintained county roads or even back roads through the mountains. Especially in the eastern/south eastern part of the state. Lots if state game land down there and cool stuff to see
