It's a sad site seeing that on some poor guy's/gal's Tacoma or Tundra and on an otherwise good looking truck with the bumper showing the pock marks from rusting from the inside-out and paper thin with only the chrome holding on...... There's just no excuse for this: It was obvious that on my son's 2005 that when they did the frame replacement, they put on a brand-new bumper. Sometimes people (dealers/Toyota) do the right thing. They should do this for everyone that is losing their bumper to this failure, bad frame or not. I have been around "for a little while" now, and I have never owned a vehicle with a chrome bumper that rotted from the inside-out.

It's tough looking at the underside. I'm glad Toyota took these trucks back and did a lot of work with the frame replacement. Buuuut, if I had owned it at the time I would have been grateful had they replaced some of these parts bolted on that are now rusted through.
