You should really look into regearing your differentials. Just going by memory, I think 4.56 gears should get you back to stock ratios. If you do go this route, and you plan to go offroading (which 35s are usually meant for that), I would reccomend adding a locker if you don't have one already. Onboard air compressor, small air tank, and air locker can be helpful.

I'm Zach, home is Deer Park, and I don't have a taco anymore. Mine was rolled and totaled 4 years ago. Since then, I've upsized first to a dodge 1500, then got smart and got an older dodge 2500.

How's that dodge holding up? We should go continue exploring Colville as long as you got some tough sidewalls this time Iol

Dodge is getting by pretty well for a 25 year old truck. I ended up getting 5 new tires and a new rim for the spare. Within a month, I was using a borrowed trailer, loaded wrong, and blew out one of the new tires. I got that replaced under warranty. I also found out that factory spec puts the front tires at 65 and the rears at 80 psi.

With the snow we've had a few waves of since October, my driveway has been somewhat like going offroad.

I just got my 4.88s in this weekend. That was a job that I'm glad is over. The rear went together easy but the front was a real fight to get everything spaced right to make it work. I'm waiting for the rear differential locker actuator to get here and then I'll get to try them out. The actuator came out in pieces because it had been cracked and full of water but now I know why my locker wouldn't work.

Winter was good. I've got some parts coming in that I want to install and then I'll be looking to get some new tires. The slicks I have on now won't make it very far.

Ya I'm waiting to get my JD Fab lower control arm pivot installed and then I'll talk to my friend that works at a tire shop to see if I can make 37s clear. That will determine what I go with for tires.
