Eastern WA, North Idaho area meetups .....and BS

I think I'll be waiting till spring after snow clears out. I'm not ready for snow runs.

 

You’re missing out. Some of the best times are when there’s snow in the hills

 

I could probably do it with a well prepared group. I've never done it before.

 

Me either but I want to try it if it's pretty tame for a first outing. I do have traction boards and some other basic gear and cold weather camping gear. I know a spot that would be easy to get to that doesn't have facilities but does have fire pits and bear boxes if we wanted to go overnight.

 

I did a little last year. Just be ready to go in reverse for a while if you get into something deep and need to abort the trail.

 

Maybe it's something that can be planned?

 

I’m out of town for work and then family stuff through the end of the year. If you guys are planning something sooner I’ll edit the first post here still.

 

Anyone think it might be cool to do another meet and greet? I feel like there's been a good number of new people on the other post.

I’ve been so busy I feel like I’ve been neglecting TW. I should be back in town Wednesday for a couple weeks. I’m in.

Also I’m planning on installing my UCAs and bumping up my front lift a little more while I’m home if anyone wants to spectate/help/drink beer in my garage.

 

I'd be willing to help out

 

I am free next weekend out of town for a couple weekends after that. Just met a guy downtown with a nice Tacoma, invited him to join us here.

 

I'd be down to help. Done quite a few UCAs so... let's get er done

 

So as far as meeting up, anyone want to hit up the ORV park or hit a trail (if there is no deep snow) on Sunday? Maybe follow up with a food/drink after?

 

I can try and make it. But I had to work an extra week on the coast so my honey do list might be too long by now.

 

So I’m free for Sunday morning. Anyone else want to go somewhere?

Monday is also better for me, just have a thing from 915-1015

 

Anyone have suggestions for trails? Or the CDA forest roads? I wouldn't think there'd still be a ton of snow on trails.
