The dealer wanted 582 bucks to replace a sensor 1.5hrs labor and the sensor was 260. The dealer insisted it could not be repaired under warranty so I decided to do it my self.

Found this thread and purchased several $20 dollar sensors in case they broke during install.

This is the easiest way to replace the center sensors.

All you need is trim tool, flash light, and a skinny flat blade.

^ this is what I have fairly inexpensive.

You get underneath the truck use the flat blade to depress the sensor connector and simultaneously wiggling the connector.

That’s the hardest part. Now use your trim tool to carefully pry out the broken sensor so you don’t damage the paint around it. After it’s out just put the new one in. I put a little lube on the sensor hole and it went in perfectly. No broken clips and done in 15 minutes. Hopes this helps someone.

Why did they insist it wasn't warranty? Unless you directly caused it to break or you're out of warranty it's under warranty

    It’s still under factory warranty.
At first the service advisor said the wire to the sensor was cut, then gave me the invoice for the cost of a new sensor and the labor. After argueing with him over it and seeing how he was not comprehending how it was a faulty sensor I figured I saved myself the mental hassle and do it myself.

I’m just not going to give them my business anymore, and when the email for a review comes in I’ll be honest :)
