EASY cv axle removal

    Just looking to save some people some time and try to help out I just replaced both cv axles by myself in a little over 2 hours. here are some pics to help someone out.

    first take the wheel off and the hub cover i used a chisel and hammer [​IMG]

    then remove the 35 mm axle nut I went and rented some sockets [​IMG]

    then remove the two 19 mm ball joint bolts

    then pull on the rotor brake assemble push the axle out of the way and work it out with a pry bar

    I did this by myself so it is doable but would have gone quicker with a second set of hands. hope this helped out there is another informative thread on this as well
