New member here and I have a question (shocker, ik)! I am aware that a stock 2nd gen tacoma has about 2in of rake straight out of the factory.
My question is: does this rake come from the factory suspension parts or the physical body of the truck its self? Meaning, if you remove all the stock suspension parts and replace them with aftermarket, do you still need to be concerned with the 2in difference from front to back?
    THANKS!

The rear leafs is what gives you lift in the rear, that being said I think don't quote me on this but when adding a new leaf pack entirely it is still measured as if the 2in rake stock is ground zero.

Meaning your truck is already 2in, take the leaf pack out and add a new leaf pack that adds 3in of lift. You will now have 5in of lift in the rear.

I think thats how it works, I mean at least AAL so why not a entire new thing... Hopefully someone who knows for sure will chime in

Ok thanks, thats what I was assuming but just wanted to be 100% sure. Kinda wish they hadn't had it built in.. It would make new suspension a hell of a lot more easier to understand haha
