I thought I saw something in one of these threads, but I don't remember where. I have been tossing around the idea of getting a SSM TRDORDC with just the tow package. I don't want to spend $3k for the tech package with JBL, but I want good-great sound quality. Does anyone have a recommendation for an easy to install compete stereo system including a nice sub? How much would I probably be looking at for a shop to do an amp install (I can handle the speakers, but hate running wiring)? And recommendations for speaker/amp brands (thinking JL Audio)?

I wonder if they will develop a kit to fit a 2016?

There are mixed reviews regarding ********* on here, but they do sell sub boxes that are specifically for Tacomas. They sell boxes where you remove the plastic on the back cab and with some slight easy mods you can fit a nice hard hitting single ported '12 and they sell box/sub combos that fit in the existing small cubbies behind the seat. The 14-15 boxes will also fit the 16. Same exact cab design behind the seat. www.*********.com

First month of ownership... This month I'm removing front air dam, and also Rhino lining the bed.
Probably the easiest to install with decent sound is this setup...

Can you just add a sub-woofer alone to the 2016?
