Sorry my model doesn't seem to be available. Just do like me and read reviews. A lot of reviews. I bought mine because 95% of 2200 reviews were positive and most raved about the bass output. They were spot on correct. JBL, Kicker, Alpine, Pioneer, Infinity, etc etc all make quality speakers. Just do your homework before you buy. My big deal was bass because I don't want a sub taking space in my access cab. You can also look at the manufacturer web sites for specs and reviews. For me the rms of 150 watts was more important that total peak watts. Our head units don't put out 450 watts per channel. I liked the peak of 450 because if mine did not perform well enough then I knew they would handle an amp later. I just got lucky and do not need an amp.

Most 2-way speakers are tweeter and woofer. 3-way adds the mid-range speaker.

So what is the benefits of going 2-way vs. 3-way? I installed the tweeters and still want a little more without going full system.

I just felt like 2 ways would be plenty of treble knowing I was installing the tweeters. I almost bought straight single 6 x 9 woofers but glad I went with 2 way. For me it is a perfect mix. I was afraid with 3 ways the treble might take away from the bass I was looking to gain. The 3 ways might sound great. I can only speak for what I have and what I have is perfect for me. Tons of bass and just enough treble throughout. I had 3 ways before that I felt were lacking on the bass end but that could be because of other brands. That was years ago too. They even make them in 5 ways now but, for the prices, they had to cut corners somewhere. Not to mention the more space covered in front of the woofer will be prone to cause more distortion from the woofer itself. That is strictly my opinion. I am not a speaker expert.

Tweeters are a great improvement for such a small investment. I just installed mine at lunch!

mrproduxn I purchased these Kicker 6x9 206KSC6904 for the front and for the rear Kicker 6x5 206CSC654. Thank you for helping me decide and further do my research on these speakers. I will update hopefully after this coming weekend regarding the outcome of this install.

Thanks for this - just ordered these. I've been reluctant to drop money in the sound system b/c I fear it will quickly become a $1-2k money pit but indeed the clarity of treble and crispness is the biggest holdback for me. By throwing the balance slightly to the rear I can get acceptable bass and the fronts seem to provide moderate mid-range, but by turning up the treble everything else seems to get distorted quickly. For $100 for a plug n' play solution I'm stoked. thank you

I think if people can duplicate the sound I have then they will be extremely happy. I cannot overemphasize how cheap, weak and tinny the stock speakers were compared to aftermarket speakers. I am more happy that I can keep my entune premium head unit. No complaints with that now.

Insane how much of a difference the subie tweeters make. Best bang for the buck upgrade so far .

THIS is why I love this site... I would never have thought that ONLY replacing the tweeters would make this kind of difference - was convinced the door speakers were to blame for the lack of clarity. I would never have thought that the Subbie speakers would be plug/play and that they would reproduce such clarity on the stock head unit.

Floored by how much this cheap/easy mod has improved the sound. The mediocre door speakers actually sound pretty good now that I'm not blaming the terrible treble on those... Thank you!

Did the opposite. I did the doors first and that alone brought the entune to life. Then added the tweeters and, damn, it got even better.

I may replace the doors at some point but sound wasn't TOP of my list - I disliked the mushy sound but was resigned to live with it for now. All my mod money has gone to utility, performance, protection so hard to justify dumping a bunch more cash into the stereo. With these tweeters I have acceptable sound depth and clarity. I find the bass to be reasonable if I balance slightly to the rear of the truck and with the tweeters doing their job... Very happy.

For all of you doing this tweeter mod and also replacing your door speakers. Crutchfield is having a sale, buy one pair of kicker speakers and receive half off the second pair of equal or lesser value, and they include the mounting adapters and wiring adapters free. Until 9/21

Feel like a real tard right now because I have been saying, for the past week, my 6 x 9 were 450 watt peak coax but, in fact, they were 450 watt peak 3 way speakers. I just looked at my BestBuy purchase history. But I still stand by my statement that they kick butt. And I do mean by not going past a 48 volume level. That is about all my poor ears and door glass can handle. The rears were coax with 300 watts peak.

I'm sure it's here somewhere so I apologize if I've missed it in the cross-talk, but is there a set of Kicker or other door speakers that are direct fit just like those tweeters. I'm pretty happy with the sound after the tweeter swap, but if there was another option that purely a plug-n-play with speakers that fit the same as the stock ones + same connectors, I'd be interested for a potential future mod.
