Truck is down and out. Has some electrical issues so I figured I'll decommission the old bag for a while and do some major rehab work. Tank is full. Don't say stab a hole in it.:burp:

they are pretty easy to stuff a hose in and siphon it out. I did that when it was time to change the fuel pump with a full tank.

What size? I tried to get a 3/8 OD hose down there but got rejected.

3/8 will go just fine, I used 1/2".
You gotta twist and shove it a bit to get past the lip on the tank.

I don't know about an 03. But most newer vehicles are designed so that it is impossible to get a hose into the tank. You could do it with old school vehicles.

Yeah, I tried that:rofl:. Looks like I'll eventually be pulling the bed so I'll drain it then.

Pump is dead. Sweet! Might as well send the injectors in for rehab while I'm needle scaling.:puke:

    What pump should I get?

    But seriously
I would take bed off to access FP
Especially if full tank of gas
    6 bed bolts
    Tail lights and lamp harness
12 pack for neighbor/friend to help you lift
    Done.
