Well it looked nice when I first put it on there, but now when I try to take it off it just flakes off. It seems near impossible to get it off :(

Ideas? What about that goo gone stuff?

If a little heat and a soft scraper don't do it, I'd look at a 3M removal wheel.

I used charcoal lighter fluid to remove stickers from glass and chrome but never paint. It works super well on the glue when you soak it and let it set for a few minutes-but I don't know what this would do to your paint. You could try a small amount at a time but it takes a soaking to react to the glue.
    There's this too

see if you can locate n auto-body supply house there by you that carries 3m stuff and they may sell to you too.
