I could not believe my luck, on ebay this military gal was selling her late husbands 2004 Tacoma 3.4L 4x4 crew cab TRD 96k miles garage kept, looking in perfect shape for $1k..no Brainer..will ship it to me for free then have 5 days to pay for it.. will flip it for some good money..the bed is to short for my needs. Seen others that are selling for above $15k that only had 2 wheel drive and more miles on them. She didn't want to pay for storage and insurance on it while overseas.

 

Sure sounds like a classic scam...

 

good luck with that, had one like that I bit on here locally not too long ago, all I wanted to to was come take a look at the truck. not gonna happen.......

I'm guessing this is a joke thread since his'new' truck is listed in his profile. I mean either way it's good for a laugh but 1 will have some tears mixed in.

 

New members first postings never fail to amuse me. Good luck with this purchase. Don't pay cash for a copy of the title, take a check for $5,000 and deposit it then give $4,000 back. Lots of car sales scams, don't be a victim. If it's too good to be true it probably isn't.

 

Do not try and ship the truck. That's impossible. Instead, only realize the truth...there is no truck. Then you will see that it is not the truck that is taken for a ride, but yourself.

 

Hehrhe, it's either "I just got scammed" or "how do I sue Toyota for a rusty frame".

Tw is a friendly place. All my off-road forums were full of mean people . The friendliest advice was how to set up your suspension followed by inconvenient ways to die. But the tech info was good.
