BTW, I got bushwackers. I wanted to get the generics one on EBay, but the sellers want so much for shipping to hawaii, it was about the same as bushwackers from Amazon with free shipping. Cutting fenders and trimming the bushwackers. Gonna cut the vertical sections to keep as much width as possible.

Wide enough to cover my 37x12.5 MTRs :D

Front was gutted after I took this pic. Marked holes for drilling.

I'll post more progress pics in my build, and post the finished pics here.

Okay so besides that square trim piece for the front bumper, theres no real big differences between the 05-11's and the 12-15's correct?

100% meaning you're not sure or meaning they're not 100% the same besides that front bumper piece?

Gotcha. Yeah I know the different beds are different flares, but i'm pretty sure the flares are the same regardless of that square bumper piece

Hey thanks for the write up! Quick question, did the RJD's cover the paint scuffs/lines in the fenders left after removing the stock flares? And, second, do your pics show the color and texture these came with, or did you paint them? Thanks!

    Some of the things...
Mine did not cover the original scuffs/lines of the oem. They leave about a 1/2" of newly exposed fender.

FYI I couldn’t find them on eBay. But they have their own website https://www.rdjtrucks.com/ and they have a couple of different finish options there and at least today a coupon code.

Well, the link is at the bottom of the thread:

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/TEXTURED-P...its-Toyota-Tacoma-60-3-Bed-Only-/261922248669

and even with the 10% off from RDJ they are 18 dollars more expensive. :notsure:
(also the "aggressive" textured finish on RDJ is out of stock and those other options are $100+ more)

/note that there is a difference in the front fenders between 2.0 and 2.5Gen tacomas but if you are running an offroad bumper it doesn't matter and they are the same for long bed vs. short bed.
