Bought my truck on Monday. Ordered a set today.

 

where do i find the dark grey or black fj wheels?

Frank Motors told me that there are 40+ people on the waiting list, but none have paid money. If you pay money up front, you will be second in line behind me to get priority when new ones come in, which is soon.

 

hmm... shoot. I've been busy and didnt get on these fast enough i guess? Got the cash and ready to buy. just wondering how to pay? Not real familiar with ebay.

 

You don't need ebay. I called them today and just payed for over the phone. The set that was on ebay disappeared today, so I called and got the same price, but now just have to wait until next shipment.

 

^^^yeah i talked to scott today but he seemed like he was too busy to talk and didnt have the answer's to my questions. i would like to take advantage of the bing cashback=$42 of savings! so i guess i gotta use ebay for this?

 

May want to get them anyway you can, sounds like they are getting scarce.

I could never get Bing to work for the discount, so I gave up and just ordered thru Frank Motors. Did not need to talk to Scott. The other parts guy was helpful and glad to take my money to put me first on the list of next shipment. Money definitely talks

 

Did he say how long it would be before they get another shipment?

 

I believe you have to use ebay to use the bing cash back because it is one of their stores on their cash back site. Ebay is pretty easy to use. I had my account for almost 10 years.

 

^^^ yeah thanks man! I was busy this week and by the time i got around to figuring out how to use the bing. the link was gone.

 

Mine have arrived in Port Huron, so tomorrow I grab my passport and go pick them up( I saved about 300$ to ship them to the states and drive 3hrs to pick them up. I also just ordered a set of BFG all terrain AT/Ko 265/75/16 to mount on them.

 

Anybody wanting the anthracite fj wheels(gun metal). Frank toyota has some on ebay again. I just ordered mine!! I used the bing cashback(thanks simon's mom) and saved $42!

 

Yup, I ordered mine earlier today from there. If anyone wants 5 wheels just send him a message through ebay. Then do an invoice request. Scott responds very quick.

 

got my wheels from frank toyota today. just my luck one of them is damaged! looks like it was dropped or something? funny thing is these things are double boxed and there is no damage to the boxes? i was siked to get these put on this week now doesnt look like im gonna be able to? not even sure how to return this wheel? an suggestions?

 

Hmmm, I would guess you would have to file a claim with UPS? Since they were insured, but the boxes weren't damaged I wonder how that works? UPS may say it's not their fault.

I would contact both Scott from Toyota and someone from UPS........

EDIT: I got my FJ wheels today, too! I haven't opened the boxes. I hope mine are not damaged. I do have 5 though.......

 

yeah boxes look fine? makes me think they were damaged before they were shipped?
