Ebay HID kit

SO I purchased an Ebay HID kit and installed this afternoon. The driver's side bulb work great but the passenger does not. I can tap the outside of the ballast and it will come on for a little bit but as soon as I hit a bump driving, the bulb goes out. I ordered a replacement ballast off of ebay, does anytone know if I can open it up and maybe fix the problem, or am I just going to make things worse?

 

Opening it up won't do anything. Manufacturers usually put some sort of epoxy or silicon inside as some sort of water insulator. Have you checked your connections on that side of the truck yet to make sure everything's A-OK?

 

Yeah I checked all my connections and actually went through and re-connected everything with no avail. I just got pissed off and went to autozone and bought a pari of Sylvania Silverstar ZXE bulbs and but the everything back the way it was. Maybe one day I'll get up the patience to try it again lol
