The silicon isn't really necessary on the tail lights. The seal is much more tighter and cleaner looking. The headlights have a large gap between the lense and plastic housing which allows water to pool. I'm not really sure why Depo designed it that way. I think the sealant they use on headlights just isn't great, so the silicon really just adds a second layer. But to answer your question, no. I didn't place a bead on mine and they haven't leaked so far.

All the cool kids are figuring this out. I stopped paying for expensive carts about 8 years ago and didn't look back! Check out Shave Nook or Badger & Blade..

I have a 1960's Gillette but I don't use it every day, and the Dovo gets used even less. If you're looking for quality, Truefitt and Hill is fantastic. They are the oldest barber shop in the world.

yup. bought a safety razor and a box of random blades to try back in 2012 and haven't made it though all those blades yet. the whole shebang only ran me 40 bucks. probably the the most money ill ever save on a single product switch.

You spend almost $40 on a pack of 8 Fusion Proglide cartridges.

Now if I could convince my wife to stop buying her souped up razor blades, that would be a win.
