Primo 95, are you really saying an eBay light bar was better than a rigid? Don't think that's a widely spread sentiment

My opinion, based on what I have researched and seen my with my own eyes. Totron (not all ebay lights) and Rigid are basically the same..with the Totron costing about a 1/3 of the price.

With the same brightness, I cant justify paying 3X the price for the same Rigid light.
Again, this is just my opinion, I am not looking to start an argument or pissing contest.

Search for opt7 light bars on ebay or elsewhere. We compared a 20" to a non branded 20" ebay cree led bar of same wattage and its ALOT brighter and the non branded one has moisture in it already (about 6 months)

^^^ this!!! I got a cheap bar on Amazon for about 100$ I opened the front and put gasket maker all around and I never had issues, blinded everything and got nothing but compliments on the brightness

IMO they are all made in China and probably the same sweatshop... I have seen plenty of rigid LED's and none of them blew my mind enough to spend that much cash

OP, I notice you're in Canada, if you are still looking for light bars check out Speed Demon Lights. They're based in Alberta. I approached them with group buy prices from TW and they matched them and shipped them to Canada as well as threw in a few amber covers/t-shirts/and stickers. I got 2x 20" and a 30" for my truck but have yet to install them on my truck because I am waiting for a new frame. However I have installed a 12" on a buddies car, and another 12" on my fiance's car and they blow my 20" ebay/china bar clean out of the water, I might as well be working with candles by comparison to the Speed Demon lights.

i bought one of the ebay ones, and I am really happy with it.
Mine sits low right at bumper height so its always getting wet.
No water into the housing yet.

The only thing I made sure to look for was the "water proof" rating.

Buy one with IP68 and not IP67 rating....most will be IP67 or not specify.

Looking to get a 40" to fit my prinsu rack but I don't want to sell my left kidney. In the same token I don't want something cheap. I've looked at black oak and they have a summer sale... With that being said it's still 900+ CAN for a light bar

    Any suggestions?

I have 3 ebay gems on my rig. My 40" is just a cheap 280 watt. No watts equals no lumens. 600 watts and higher are the brightest cheap or expensive. My 40" was $72 and its been on a couple years now....It was advertised as earthquake and bomb blast rated LOL The paint on it is starting to peel off by the screw holes but so far it kicks ass for a low watt. I have a 22" that has twice the power as the 40" but much smaller and it's really bright but much much smaller and very little flood light. And finally i have another 22" angled down and its a 160 watt but has a larger flood area and it blinds Asshats that cut me off on the freeway. if these get stolen or if the break they cost $119.00 for all 3 so i can replace them 6 times for that high price stuff.
