When you try to buy items at eBay, first of all check the seller's feedback. If you see "negatives", then run away. Second-ask the seller same question that you have in your mind and see how this seller will act. See how long this seller is on eBay. Bottom line: be skeptical.

I checked this seller. He has a lot of negatives. The price is just $20, but this makes me suspicious: OEM Factory Style Lug Nuts...means that they have only OEM style. It's up to you. My opinion is they are NOT OEM items.

I appreciate the help, I think you’re right. Price is just too good to be true.

I have a set of 24 OEM black lug nuts on order from Amazon. Cost $40.

12-1.5, 1.87 inch tall (not the 1.47 inch), mag seat with washer, black anodized, thru hardened to grade 10.9.

Fleecebay is always a place to be very cautious and skeptical of product and seller.

Got a link for the ones you went with? All the Amazon ones I’ve seen have picture reviews where the black paint chipped off and they were rusting.

Impact gun will destroy the paint. Common.

Suggest to avoid any shop using impact gun to tighten.

I was checking shops about swapping my rubber to the restored wheels. Asked about how they control the lug nut torque. The answer was they used "torque sticks" set at 110 lb-ft. My reply, "That is too much torque. The torque spec on my wheels is 83 lb-ft. Can you tighten by hand to that spec?" The answer was a bit soft and hesitant. That shop is out.

IIRC a full set of lug nuts from the factory are about $85 when I was selling them.

These are certainly not OEM based on price, and even the black lugs we had were much much deeper in color depth.

I suspected those will fade chalk or flake and may even fail.

Decent lug nuts will set you back $50 or so at least.

I’d look at bimecc lugs. They are zinc and hold the proper torque when tightening the lugs. I’d be cautious about trying to save money on what holds your wheels on.

    Zinc lug nuts????

Zinc has zippo strength. Are you sure those aren't zinc coated steel???

Once again. If you don’t walk out of the dealer with them or order from the dealer no way to guarantee they’re oe.

Warning, I bought these about 1 1/2yrs ago abs they are all starting to rust now. Will get some OEM ones to replace them.

OEM lugs are worth the spend - bit of a challenge finding black tho.
