Before reading any of the other member's comments I want you to remember seeing cars and trucks on the road with air bubbles all over their windows. These folks wanted to save $$$ and do it themselves. You''ve seen these vehicles ... you have said to yourself, "Damn, that looks like shit!"

    DON'T BE THAT GUY!

Go to a pro and get it done right the first time.

No tinting windows is not a 4 year degree thing, but it is a skill for sure. I have tinted my stuff in the past when I could get good material but even then I'm hard pressed to say it was worth my time. Good tint is hard to find unless you have a distributor willing to sell it to you by the foot. And they are hard to find most want to sell a full roll or nothing.

well, thanks for the suggestions, I was still considering my options when I went to get a haircut on the shady side of town, Bladensburg MD. There happened to be a tint shop right next door....I went ahead and paid the $60 and it was done at the same time as my haircut, no appointment or anything needed. Two birds, one stone!?!
They did offer a lifetime warranty but I won't have the truck more than a year or two so....its whatever.

it's been a week and so far so good, they matched it with the rear privacy glass. (or is that tint too?) I am pretty sure it isn't legal, but oh well.
