If you've got a tracking number then I would just wait it out. Also realize that the USPS tracking is not always accurate. I've had items show as being in Los Angeles one day and delivered in New Jersey the next after having sat in LA for weeks. They must forget to scan it in at some sites. So it may be sitting in your local hub waiting to be delivered. At least you've got a seller that's actively communicating with you.

No doubt. Just don't blame him for the Post Office's slow delivery. I've been where he's at. There's not much he can really do.

 

i fucking hate the post office..when i was in iraq i got my computer jacked, i went to the post office, then they referred me to postal ops, which was far from where my camp was at, and asked about my computer, and then told me to go back to the original post office from the beginning saying they dealt with that stuff. whoever stole my computer i hope they get a fuckin trojan and their shit blows up

so ive gotten emails from the seller, and now I filed a paypal claim. the seller sent me a pitty email telling me they have no money in there account to cover the paypal claim, and asking me to remove it. Should I?

 

Screw him, if you haven't gotten your item yet let the claim run it's course. Tell him you either want your item or your money back... PERIOD!

 

well aparently they tracked it down, its in Atlanta, with no lid on the box(so they claim). So they (atlanta) dont know where its supposed to go. The usps sent the label back to the seller since there return address is on it. Apparently the Atlanta post office is looking for it..confusing i know..I have all emails incase anyone wants to actually know whats going on. I told them flat out that the mirrors are either beat to shit, or not there depending on how hard they beat up the box to make the lid come off..If they are, and I do wind up getting them, i want my money back anyways.

 

I dont know what to tell you. Money is tight right now, and internet scams are readily available these days. I think paypal has a 30 day rule that you can file a claim. I know its been a month, if not over since I sent you the money. What I dont understand is since your a seller on ebay, why dont you have funds to back up incase of something like this? I by all rights should not remove my claim. Even thou you have kept in contact with me the entire time, im just plain out tired of excuses and waiting. Im not trying to be rude, or inconsiderate about this at all. Please dont take it that way.

no they did not, I tried to get that out of the guy at the post office today, that is why I think I will go ahead and file the insurance because if they banged around enough for the lid to come off I cant imagine that the mirrors are either there or ok. As I was filling out the form for the Insurace claim with the Post office. The mail came and in it was the label to the box I mailed you. This means that they used a box cutter knife to cut off the label, the delivery confimation sticker and the insurance sticker; adn mailed it to me with another form about lost mail. Apparently the mistreated the box so much that the lid was detached from the box (I used a lot of tape to securece the lid to the box not jsut a lottle bit).
I took all the forms and the label etc to the post office today. They guy said it was for sure their fault. He had me send the form for the lost item to the est coast lost item place. It is in Atlanta. If they do not find the mirrors they will let you or me know. I put on both forms that if they find them they are to send them to you. Please let me know if you get anything from them. I was told to wait until I heard form them in Atlanta but I will file the claim for the insurance in a few days also.

I went to the Post Office today and they gave me a form to fill out for the insurance claim. It has on it that they what your phone number. Could you give me your phone number?
Also the woman I spoke with said that the process will take 2 weeks to a month!
I am filling out the form so that you will receive the $80 I insured it for and also the cost of the postage which was 17.13 with the delivery confirmation and the insurance.
As soon as I get the phone number I will file this. I wish i could reimburse you know but my life is in the tank.

Apparently I can file a claim after 21 days, I was just told so I will go to the main postoffice again here and see what I can do. If I end up filing a claim I will get your money to you asap.

It would probably be your fault if they offered the option to ship priority with delivery confirmation and insurance and you didn't take it to save a few bucks. If they didn't offer it then it's on the shipper to refund you the money if it doesn't come within 30 days.

 

I'm not gonna throw gas on the fire so I will only add to always use a credit card to back your paypal purchases, it adds another level of refund & gives 45 day fuck this bullshit protection. It also lets the cc company chase around to get their money back from seller after reimbursing you. NOTHING should take 3 weeks to get from one side of the lower 48 to the other even when free. Shit doesn't take 3 weeks coming from asia via lowest priced shipping.
