So, is there anything wrong with those generic sub boxes for behind the rear seats that folks sell on Ebay?? My son wants 2 10s in his truck and want to keep it simple. Think he's going to get Kicker CompRTs.

I bought mine from SoundOffAudio, probably 5-6 years ago. I think they are close to the same construction as the eBay ones. The wood is a cheaper grade, the joints should be sealed up (as already mentioned), and there is little to no finish on the outside. But, IMO, they are sufficient. As long as you don't need the ultimate in box rigidity and the finish is OK, or you will cover it yourself, then they are fine.

You do get what you pay for though. If you want a good looking box that is well constructed, go find MRMarv. You will need to pay for quality, but depends on if sufficient is OK or not if it's worth it.
