Saw those the other day and was very interested. Then I saw that they don't make them for first gens. I'm just not sold on the uniball. Seems too exposed to me. Don't have much choice though.

I actually have these on my rig been running them for 2 years now had to replace the bushings but the ones I bought were 300 on ebay and have gussets on them there surprisingly pretty solid believe it or not definitely a rip off of total chaos

I thought about the El Cheap-o UCAs, then I thought about how much my truck cost, how important it is to me/what I do with it, and figured the extra couple hundred for a brand name was kind of a no brainer for me.

I KNOW not only are the bushings/uniballs on my TC UCAs top notch, but I know the materials used for the arms themselves weren't skimped on. WHo knows what the hell material those chinese knockoffs are made of...

And yes, I realize I have the really expensive total chaos, but that's not what I originally intended: I wanted Camburgs which were a good $100+ cheaper, but they were out of stock for the foreseeable future, and what's another $100 between friends (I mean customer/retailer)... lol

Not that I've tested it, but I read somewhere that BJs actually have higher angles that uni-balls anyway, so the angle isn't the limiting factor. It's more about the geometry of the arms (correcting for lifts) and the durability that make uni-balls "better".

If you're going to beat on it, get uni's, if it's a daily driver, gravel road truck, get the BJs...

I heard a lot of the FJ cruisers guys have them and they put quite a beating on them. And rebuild them with total chaos bushings
