    Is it wrong to just quarantine everybody traveling from Africa, i think i heard it can take up to 3 weeks before symptoms show.

    Don't ask me, I don't travel to Africa. Every ebola article I've seen in the past 2 days has said that anybody suspected of coming into contact with an infected person is quarantined for 21 days to see if a fever develops. If no fever, then they're good to go (I assume), but news agencies tend to leave out major details and I haven't cared to look deeper.

    Persons who are traveling from West Africa to the US are to be screened prior to boarding. If a temperature is detected then the person is denied the boarding pass and asked to be quarantined for the 21 day period before being allowed to board any future flights into the States. It's up the the departing country to conduct any screening.
