ECG Fabrication Custom Mesh Grilles

How long has it been since you tried to contact him? Sometimes things happen, if it hasn't been too long I wouldn't put the guy on blast just yet.

 

I've been messaging him since June about this situation. I've tried to be reasonable about the situation but I got this grill when he had the group buy.

 

I've done the same thing on Oct. 2, right after the OP posted the newest grill pictures on this thread. I PM'd on here, went to the website and emailed, and called the number on the website. I've just been wondering about some grill options so it's not that big of a deal for me, but I've heard no reply as of yet.

ive seen a lot of mixed reviews on his grills and rep. i do like his work and its at a reasonable price but i also dont want to get screwed over...hopefully he gets everyone elses issues resolved

 

I have problems with this company as well ordered grill sept 7 and after countless attemps to communicate he finally sent me shipping info a few days ago. I hear he is a nice guy but business wise worst i ever expiranced. Over a month just to ship an insert!!!

We have flat black in stock, and will have gloss black back in stock by mid-week.

 

I slipped up I admit, payment sent. Unfortunately when mass producing these grilles, there is bound to be an error every once in a while. I should have corrected this sooner.

Hey TW,

Just wanted to give an update since we've been out of the loop on here for a while. The way we had production set up was initially perfectly fine for customer demands. However, after gaining more and more recognition, production fell way behind with simply too many orders to handle. This resulted in some lead times increasing tremendously and, understandably did not sit well with some customers. We have done our best to work past everything with everyone.

We now have revamped almost everything, from our production process to our website, in order to provide customers with a much more pleasing experience with us. When each person orders, you will be sent the estimated shipping date of your order, and estimated lead times are much more accurate now (and lower).

We are looking forward to offering many other products as we expand more into the Toyota aftermarket this year. Several vendors here on TacomaWorld will be and are already working with us and we are excited to say the least.

Finally got around to installing mine this weekend. With some work I think it came out well!

Found a TRD emblem online and installed it as well this morning.

 

How hard is it and how long would it take to install yourself?

 

It took me a few hours because I'm stupid. Now that I have done one, maybe an hour or so. The most time consuming part is the cutting of the old grill and trimming the new one to fit each other properly. Also helps having the correct tools handy. I used a Dremel to trim the old plastic grill out which was easy, I needed something better to trim the new metal grill better. That took a while for me.

 

Dudwe where'd you get the lower bottom right TRD emblem ?

If I were to send you my TRD off-road grille that is ugly chrome wrapped could you do the raptor mesh with Lettering and also have it paint matched?

Also what would be the turnaround on something like that as I would be Grille-less
