Yeah Falken bought them back from me through DTD. So I decided on Cooper STMaxx 255/80R17 basically by flipping a coin last minute on that size or 255/75R17. So should get the new ones Tuesday. Peel the old ones off and mail them back so Falken can cut them up to see why they've worn so fast

I was blown away by it. Really felt bad for not getting a Falken set to replace them. But the MT didnt make sense for my driving. And had this nervousness about running the AT3Ws again. And also didnt want the 285s

I like the wider tire myself. I have 2 sets 265's & 285's. But then again I'm a rebel! :burp:

haha I wish they made a 265/75R17 cause I would be all over that. I wanted the narrow tire just to avoid to much trimming and also in my mind it will help with MPG since it less contact and rolling resistance

My hope is the skinniness will offset the size and weight and MPG will stay the same. I know it will dog a bit in the hills, but fingers crossed towing will be ok

My hypothesis is the same. Shall see though, they should show up today and going to try and get them on Friday or earlier. Have a road trip planned on Sunday and then I'm out of the country so will get an idea of highway driving for sure.

Been wheeling a ton lately. Led an awesome run this last Saturday. Only got one pic of a minor obstacle. That's the problem with leading no good pics. Gonna try harder to get more pics. I spend all this time wheeling, I would like to have some photos to remember it all.

Safari AirMax ordered. Get ready for the anaphlactic snorkel mod. They are HUUUGGGGE, but I just couldn't dig on the the Airflow, just seemed flimsy.

I'm just the opposite. I can't stand the bulbous look of the Safari's! Looks like it is way overdone to me

Oh I agree they look too big! I just think at the end of the day they are a better product than the airflows. I look at it this way, if I don't like it I can always buy a new fender  Besides, my kids like the ARB, so...

You can use it as a feeler while wheeling! Opps my bulging snorkel is rubbing against that tree, I guess I'm too close. Let me try a different line
