I just did this big trifecta yesterday. ECGS clamshell bushing, Larger front brakes using the 13WH calipers from a Lexus GX470, 330mm rotors and 231mm Brembo pads and rotors, larger Toyota splash pans. And finished it all up with a full brake fluid flush. Whole job took about 8 hours, but really beat up my old body.
I had bought the calipers used from EBay earlier this year (January) and rebuilt them with Carlson kits and painted them up with blue caliper/ drum paint. Ordered the Brembo pads and rotors, and larger splash pans a month later. Then I came across the ECGS bushing kit, seal, bushing and seal install tools the next month (March). Had to wait for the perfect day weather wise since I did this in my driveway. I’m so glad to have this all done and working properly, and that I’m off work today, so I can rest my beat up old body.
