    Nice work!

The wear should be no problem. The way that they are made, the outer bit on the proper side is harder steel for tapping on versus the softer bushing material on the inner diameter.

I dunno about 4 stroke street bikes, but 2 stroke dirt bikes are a dream to work on compared to trucks. I could do a top end rebuild in an afternoon. Wanna dig into the bottom end? Just drop the whole engine, carry it with your hands to a bench, and work on it there in complete comfort.

I was meaning the cars and bikes are low rent compared to most other hobbies. Boating, skydiving, any sort of flying, hookers, blow, etc.

Question, OP, were you having problems with the OEM needle bearing? I’ve been wondering if this was an issue only in the past that people are just paranoid about. I’ve had no issues myself so far (only 5k miles though).

Yes definitely. Owner before me had a 1.5" spacer installed so it was about 3in higher than stock in the front. It had all the classic symptoms: vibration between 25-45mph, goes away in 4wd, "wiggling" in the axle when manually pushing it. Haven't had a chance to drive it yet since I'm wiped out from today's work.

I know after I installed my ecgs bushing (post 2.5-3” lift) it drove smooth like butter! Amazing difference from the roaring needle bearing.

The driver tool hung up on the lip behind the seal most likely if it’s the tool from ecgs it’s a little too big. If it was that far in it wasn’t out of square though. I switched to the closest size socket and it drove the rest of the way with no issue.

It was the rental seal driver kit from oreillys. The smallest disc fit inside the bushing, but caused the aforementioned wear. I flipped it around today and it worked better.
