I had this exact same issue with @ECGS bushing. I left two voicemails, called four other times. No response, and my voicemail was detailed. I just ordered another one and got the right bushing the second time around

Just got on the phone with ECGS, Paul got me taken care of less than 3 minutes. The 8" bushing is expedited over right now as we speak.

People make mistake. It's how you rectify the problem is what earn my returned business.

Once you've done it the first time, it will go even quicker the second go round. Glad everything worked out and way to keep a calm and cool attitude throughout the experience.

Refill when you are done. The diff is designed so you will always have oil in it if you have a leak at the CV. I drove 300 miles with a blown CV seal and it still had a almost a quart when I got home.

This!!! When you remove the axle some diff fluid leaks out. I drained my front diff and poured in mobil1 75w-90. I replaced the crush washer, but I bet it's not necessary.

Well I couldn't wait til tomorrow. It's only 34 degree out and wind howl like a mofo out on the driveway, but she's in.
I left the CV with the spindle/knuckle to save me some labor. There's just no room to hammer the bushing in. What was a PITA.
Drained the whole thing and refilling as we speak. I just hang the bottle up with a line and let gravity do the work.

Yeah it's not the easiest job that's for sure. Especially with that weather I would have died.

Can you contact me concerning this. This is highly disturbing, and we will certainly refund you if you purchased 2 bushings. I see every email that comes through ECGS, but I do not check VM's though we do have a process for making sure they are returned, and we have a 97% pick up rate on incoming calls between 8pm-6pm Eastern time. Please email me the invoice numbers and or your name so I can rectify. Chase@eastcoastgearsupply.com

OP did purchase the wrong bushing online. Salesman did process with out verifying vehicle info which is why we ask for it........ To that end we did overnight the correct bushing at no charge due to our mistake of not verifying vehicle data.

Is there any specs. On the bearing that I could confirm, diameter - thickness prior to bringing my Tacoma to shop to have ECGS bushing installed? I purchased the ECGS bearing and no receipt was in box.

Sent you an email. Let me know if I did something wrong.

Its possible I goofed the install, my bearing would not get anywhere near flush. Install Instructions dont really talk about, but its apparently very common. The second one went in a lot easier and I just stopped when It got harder. Almost 1/4” away from being flush like the oem needle bearing.

ive got a pic of the bearing after I took it out, showing how the inside edge doesnt fit over the axle at all. Let me know if you want that.
