    Hello all,

I am looking for anyone that has the 3 tools used to perform the bushing swap for sale.

    *Bearing extraction tool
    *Bushing Installation tool
    *Seal installation tool

The price to buy these tools from ECGS for a one time use is a little steep.

I will be putting them back up for sale right after I use them.

    Let me know
    Thanks

    Thanks ZC

I did a search here but it looked like most threads had been marked sold.

    Thank you

    Oh yeah,
I had already read that thread.

The last post says it is sold.

    $85 was steep anyway
If am already paying shipping for the bushing me saving $5 for a used set from someone I don't know probably wouldn't be something I'd be interested in.

If you see anything alse around let me know

    Thanks

When I did mine, I borrowed the bearing extraction tool from someone local. I bought the seal extraction tool from HF. I don't remember using any special tools to install the bearing or new seal.

I have not done an install of the bushing or seals before, but every video I have watched on line every person had the extraction tool, bushing installation tool and most had the seal install race that is made for that specific seal.
These things were purchased from ECGS.

The smoother I can make this process the better.

I did the install on my truck with just the extraction tool. I've done things like this before and found it to be slightly cumbersome but not hard.

I've also done the install with all the tools, and it was so much easier and faster. Basically idiot proof.

Well, I'm definitely an idiot so that's good to know.
But I always do all the work on my vehicles, so as far as being mechanically capable I should good there.

Thing here is that I'm going to be doing this more than likely by myself, in my driveway, working off the ground.
I know it's going to be frustrating.

I'm actually going to be replacing both CV axles in this case so the seal tool would be helpful.

So anything I can do to be as prepared as possible and make it as easy as possible I want to do that.

Most people I see do this install don't have a big problem but there are a few that have had a nightmare of a time doing this swap.
Which is confusing to me how there could be such a huge difference from one person to the other where they are basically doing it the same exact way.

If you have trouble it's probably because you are a gorilla with a wrench. If you take care, and proceed with a level of caution when needed, and force where needed you will be fine.

    Yeah,
I'm being very cautious and making sure I have everything I need before I dive in this.

Gathering supplies and research before hand.

    I can't afford to make a mistake

Don't over worry. There are steps that require a fair amount of force, the trick is understanding when not to hit it too hard.

It’s worth the price they are asking.
If you buy their install tools, you can not drive busing or seal in too far. It seats them flush, just as they should be.

I’ve used my install tool for numerous other things. It fits the spindle seals on a Kubota tractor too.
