    If you're paying a repair shop / mechanic to do this, you should not have to purchase and provide him with the removal tool- he should already have a slide hammer attachment (pic 2) or pilot bearing puller (pic 1) that will work. He should also have a bushing /bearing installation kit. Anyone that doesn't have the necessary tools hasn't done a prior repair of this nature and should be avoided. I have the tools and don't do this for a living.

    Totally agree dude. Went to Tandem Off-road in Fort Worth. Im in a bind between work and a death in my wife’s family. They got it done fast while I waited and price was right. They do this specific repair frequently and keep the bushing in stock. Now im fully enjoying the lift I installed. The guys there are some good ol Texas boys that specialize in Toyotas.

    We did a bunch of parts for textron, real pain in the ass!!

    I’m at a defense/semiconductor shop in FL. All the OT I could dream of.
