I am planning on installing an ARB air locker in the rear of my 2010 dcsb sport. East Coast Gear guys are only about 1 1/2 hours from my house. I called them up today to get final pricing and Curtis, one of the techs, said he could have the locker, compressor and all installed in roughly 5-6 hours if i drop my truck off with them. Im sure some of you fellow TW members have had experiences with these guys since they supply so many parts/mods for 2nd gens, so my question is are they a good choice??? They seem to be quite knowledgeable, so i'm about to drop some $$$ with them for my truck. Opinions are greatly appreciated.

Good. I know alot of people are pleased with the ECGS front diff. bearing fix. They even said it would be quicker for me to just bring the truck to them rather than taking out the 3rd member and taking it to him. I think they have a soft spot for locals too;)

Never heard anything bad about them. They are very knowledgeable and pricing is pretty damn good too. Got my gears from them

Read any thread on gears and you will see several recomendations for ECGS. Chase is a cool dude. They seriously hooked me up when I blew up a stock toyota sidegear running one of their 3rds with Nitro ring/pinion.

A somewhat local florida member ckeene9 took his truck there for his locker. I cant remember if he only did the rear or both, but I know he was very happy with them and the results.

Had them install new gears and front and rear locker. Easy to deal with, very knowledgable, and competitive prices! Not a doubt in my mind I'd use them for another project.

Even received an email from Chase on a Friday evening as I was driving back after I left a voicemail past hours about a concern/question I had. Now that's customer service!

I may take you up on that. I've been talking with Wingman4. We're gonna try to meet up next week when he comes down here to wilmington. I've got to call curtis back at ecgs to schedule a time to drop off my truck within the next couple weeks. So far i haven't heard a bad thing about the ecgs crew

Nonsense. You can pull the diffs and either ship them or drop them off and have them shipped back like I did. You can clean up the axles, rebuild the brakes, and replace seals/bearings while it is apart.

I just installed the Bushing, new seal and an EMPI CV, the vibes are gone!:) but the next day the seal started leaking, when the truck went in to the mechanic for an alignment (new LCAs too), I had him redo the job and put a new seal thinking I fucked it up even though he saw no reason why it should leak.
I think still leaking but I have to check in the morning, anyone had issues like this?

I was going to start a new thread about this but I wanted to get input here, I'm a bit frustrated if I have to pull the cv again and risk ruining the bushing.. thanks
