Looking for a shop around the Nashville area that can do the ECGS bushing install. Checking on that option before I buy the puller and attempt it myself.

    Thanks.

Honestly I’d buy the puller/install tool and DIY. I was a bit apprehensive about it myself, but after helping someone do theirs (took me forever), I was able to swap mine out in 20 minutes or so. Of course I was replacing LCAs at the time so it just made sense.

Or someone local may have the tool you can borrow and save even more dough.

How did you end up getting the axle out? That seems to be the hardest part. Did you hammer it out using the notches?

Yes. I have a pry bar looking tool that I used a three pound sledge on. Four hits and it popped right out. Same concept on the reinstall. Also a dead blow hammer is a good tool to purchase or borrow for this install.

$200 is worth it. Did they have the puller or did you provide it?

right just bring the bushing and seal. The labor plus alignment took a few hours but I was working so I left my truck with them the entire day.
