    I have the ECGS removal tool I used on my Tacoma. My buddy has a ‘17 Tundra. ECGS shows a different tool for the Tundra. Has anybody tried the Tacoma tool to remove the needle bearing from a Tundra? He’s gonna order the bushing but hate to buy another tool if mine will work. We don’t want to have the Tundra torn down before we find out my tool won’t work. I figured someone on TW would have the answer. Thanks in advance.

    A little bit of this, a little bit of that...
    Did you go straight to the source? Plus you're in their neck-of-the-woods...

    @ECGS any input?

    I contacted them to find out if a 1st gen tool would work on a 2nd gen. Answer is yes for me but probably NO for you. Reason being going from a 1st get to a 2nd gen is 7.5” clamshell going to 8 “ clamshell. In you case your going from a 8” to a 9”.

    Yeah, I contacted them also. They said the Tacoma tool is smaller than the Tundra tool.
