No but still a hole in the middle and you can measure and chop is by matching it up the the part where you remove the cv axle. That part for them is stupid expensive for what it is.

I know just a flat peice of steel, some all thread, nuts, and the peice that goes behind the bearing.. I will have to make it at work so unfortunately I would like to know the exact measurements of it..

Your making the tool so I can assume your going to buy the sleeve. Why not purchase the sleeve and measure its OD and just take say .030-.050" off that dimension? You need to pull the needle bearing out. If the puller is the same size or bigger you will major issues trying to pull it out. If its a hair smaller it will grab the outer race and pull it right out. Since the new sleeve fits in place of the current needle bearing, its OD should be basically the same minus tolerances and the press fit interference.

Very good point. I’m hoping it get in before Friday because I need to have the tool made by Sunday. I don’t wanna drive to much on it because I’m afraid it’s causing damage elsewhere

The OD of the bushing is 1.595". The dimension across the ECGS puller piece is 1.545". The thickness of that plate is .187" at the edge. It's .375" thick in the middle where the threads are. Hope that helps.

OP you should retitle this thread something like "ECGS Puller Tool Precise Dimensions" so others can find this valuable information

Upper right hand corner it will say "Thread Tools" and you can edit the title that way

Hey dude! I am ordering the bushing as I type. I’d love to not have to by that outrageously priced tool. I’d gladly mail it back to you if it’s still available? I was planning id have to make one but my machine tool time is limited since I switched jobs.
